A mineral belonging to the complex family of silicates characterized by easy flakability in transparent slats. Extract from the ground in thin sheets. Its name derives from the Latin micare (shining) or from the Latin (crumb). The shimmer effect is an effect that is obtained when the mica is covered with an oxide, usually titanium dioxide. Through the application of several chosen oxide coatings you can get multiple colors. Natural Mica is a mineral present in nature. There are many types of mica all over the world.
